Using Facebook for Genealogy and Historical Research
When you think of resources for Genealogy & Historical Research, social media might not be the first thing that comes to mind. Social Media and in particular Facebook can be a powerful addition to your Research Toolkit.  Discover the benefits of using Facebook for research, including how to set up an account, navigate functions, find groups & pages, attend events and much more.
To join in this branch meeting, you will need a computer device which has a microphone and speakers. Ideally, also a webcam. You also need to be able to access emails from this device. First time users will be asked to download a small piece of software to join the meeting. The meeting link will be emailed to you in advance. Clare Wilson has 20 years experience under her belt and just loves getting her teeth into something new.
She went on to take her passion further by gaining qualifications in Genealogy. She holds a Post Graduate Qualification in Genealogical Studies from the University of Strathclyde amongst many others.
Special Interests include New Monkland Parish in Lanarkshire, Air Force Research and researching Historic Murder Cases.
