Discover Twyford’s History Walk

Twyford was first established as an early Anglo-Saxon settlement around an important crossing over the river Loddon. Later on, its inns became an important stopping place on the Great West Road to Bristol. Join James Fort, Chair of Twyford and Ruscombe Local History Society, as he leads us around Twyford. We’ll explore the interesting and historical buildings of the village and discover more about its long legacy.

The meeting place will be notified a few days before the visit. Please arrive 10 mins early for signing in and safety briefing etc.

Numbers are limited, so pre-booking is required. Bookings close three days beforehand.
