DESCRIPTION:One-place studies are a blend of family history and local history, with a focus on the entire population of a single road, village or community, not just a single, geographically dispersed family line.\nSuch studies are frequently undertaken by family historians wanting to create a context for their ancestors.\nThis talk by Gill Thomas will tell us how to use genealogical and other resources to create a One-Place Study and how this can inform family history research.\nThis talk is free to members of Berkshire Family History Society and we request a donation of £5 from non-members. Pre-booking is required, because the meeting link will be emailed in advance.
