DESCRIPTION:This talk will provide you with an insight into how the criminal court system developed, the main courts involved and the records which are available and where to find them. The talk will provide examples of some of the records available, the type of information available on our ancestors, and where that information may lead our research.\nTo join in this branch meeting, you will need a computer device which has a microphone and speakers. Ideally, also a webcam. You also need to be able to access emails from this device. First time users will be asked to download a small piece of software to join the meeting.  The meeting link will be emailed to you in advance.
